Week One:  The Miracle of the Woman Sick for 12 Years

Matthew 9: 20-22, Mark 5:25-39

“Who touched Me?”

Paul said to the church in Corinth, “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.” (1st Corinthians 12:1)   I too want all WVCF to be knowledgeable in every aspect of your Kingdom life.  In the next six weeks, we are going to:

  1. T. Teach how Jesus Christ taught His disciples and others through the working of miracles.
  2. E. Equip each of us with the confidence to trust God by learning His ways and acts.
  3. Activate us to access the anointing of God given to us through the Holy Spirit to help, heal and make each other whole.
  4. Minister to help us to serve the LORD by serving our spheres of influence —

Jerusalem (home), Judea (neighborhood, workplace, schools, social), Samaria (areas of need and challenge), the world (mission to other groups).

It is my goal that we became God’s Dream T.E.A.M.

We are going to use the S.O.A.P method to examine, investigate and learn about five different miracles of Jesus.

To provide context, I want to give you a brief explanation of the difference between Signs, Wonders and Miracles

Signs – Are for Identification: that by which a person or a thing is distinguished from others and is known. (Mark 16:17-18) These signs will follow those who believe.

I.D. – Never leave home without it.

Wonders – Are for Magnification: a miraculous wonder, done to elicit a reaction from onlookers; an extraordinary event with its supernatural effect left on all witnessing it, i.e., a portent from heaven to earth. (Exodus 14: 13-18) And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So, I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.

Miracles – Are for Intervention: An extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs, with strength, power, and ability. (Matthew 8:23-27) “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
