“MIRACLES, SNAKES AND YOU!”
Numbers 21:4-9: John 3:14
INTRODUCTION
Today’s Sunday School lesson, or experience, will be different from other lessons. Today we will address the following questions: What are two internal assets or elements in your mind that can prevent you from receiving and appropriating your miracles? How do these two (2) interior assets (in your mind) act as “miracle killers”? How do you overcome those assets or elements? What can cause these elements to become more formidable opponents to your miracle mindset?
The word “snake,” or “serpent,” appears in the Bible approximately fifty times. Genesis 3:1 is the first time. Revelation 2:22 is the last time. Overwhelmingly, snakes represent evil in the Scriptures. Numbers 21:1-11 is no exception. Why did The Lord send snakes to attack the Israelites? Why did The Lord use a snake to heal the Israelites from poisonous snake bites? How does looking at a snake heal you from the poison of a snake?
During the next sixty minutes, you will become better positioned to receive your miracles. You will also know how to avoid attitudes and behaviors that attract “miracle repellents” or “miracle killers”.

SNAKES NUMBERS 21:1-11
- The Israelites kept “begging for” a curse or for some snakes.
- They intentionally and repeatedly messed up on their way to Sinai. Exodus 15-17 How did The Lord respond to their foolishness?
- They messed up again on their way to Canaan. Numbers 11, 12 How did The Lord respond this time?
- How does The Lord respond to you when you mess up intentionally and repeatedly?
- When the Israelites cursed The Lord’s blessings this time (Numbers 21), The Lord sent the snakes!
