Prayer Topic #9

A Prayer for The Prayer Institute

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 97, Matthew 6:5-15

Reflections of the Heart:

“I would rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach.” ~ Charles Spurgeon

Scriptural Prayer:

Holy Father, thank You for The Prayer Institute, the Prayer Team and the Board of Directors. Thank You for giving pastors Kirbyjon and Suzette Caldwell the vision and the passion to take the world by prayer. Through their faithful guidance our Church Family is steadily growing in intimacy with you by faith. Thank You for the victories we have won by learning how to pray as Jesus instructed. Through the tireless work of this unique prayer ministry, you are releasing wisdom and knowledge to Your children about how to bring heaven on earth. We love You Lord, because You hear our voices and our prayers for mercy. You are good! Your faithful love endures forever! With every bone in our bodies, we will praise You. Lord, who can compare with You? Who else rescues the helpless from the strong? Who else protects the helpless and poor from those who rob them?

Divine Father, we, the Windsor Village Church Family, declare that You will continue to shower The Prayer Institute with favor. We have been graced to see the display of Your greatness, Your strong hand and powerful arm through the miracles we have witnessed among this body of believers. We proclaim that there is unity and oneness of heart and mind among The Prayer Institute Board, leadership team, teachers, staff, and volunteers. We decree that the favor of the Lord is upon their lives, and they are abundantly blessed and fulfilled. We declare that a fresh wind of anointing is blowing on The Prayer Institute, its Board Chair and CEO, Pastor Suzette Caldwell, Executive Director Nickcole Byrd, the Board of Directors, staff, and everyone connected to its vision. The joy of the Lord is their strength! We confess that they are prepared and empowered to do even greater works than the Lord Jesus did on earth. We commit The Prayer Institute and all the plans for the new year into Your hands. We expect to see great miracles and the redemption of many souls through the power of our united prayers.

Holy Spirit, remind all of us to keep The Prayer Institute uplifted in our prayers daily. Minister to the hearts of donors all over the globe, and cause them to hear about the mighty works You are doing through them. Give them a mind to share generously of their resources to advance the Kingdom agenda You have given to Pastor Suzette and her team. Bless each member of the Board, the Team, the teachers, and staff with a renewed fire and passion to do Your will. Enhance their creative gifts so that they can use them even more effectively to the glory of the Father. Lord, put Pastor Suzette’s books into the hands of millions more people who are searching for a way to reach You. Continue to keep the teachers and staff of The Prayer Institute in the flow of Your Spirit as they instruct the students who attend each of its classes. Bless upcoming courses, the podcast, and events, and let them be presented in excellence.

Holy Spirit, show me how I can pray and specifically support The Prayer Institute:

Father God, forgive us for not always interceding for The Prayer Institute as often as we should. Forgive those who have participated in gossip, murmuring, and complaining within or about The Prayer Institute. Forgive those who do not regard the value and hard work of The Prayer Institute and their impact on our community and around the globe. Forgive those who have not followed the leading of the Holy Spirit in giving to the needs of The Prayer Institute. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Awesome Father, You are Redeemer and Creator. It is You who made all things. You alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with You when You made the earth? There is no one like You! For You are great and Your name is full of power. In Jesus’ name, amen!
