“TEN (10) SCRIPTURES TO BLESS YOURSELF!”
Isaiah 65:16
HAPPY 2026!
Learning how to bless yourself is a great – and Biblical way – to kick off the new year. Isaiah 65:16 provides a Scriptural context for blessing yourself with the truth of The Lord. When you bless yourself, you are not generating a blessing. Since The Lord is The Blesser only The Lord can generate blessings!
The Lord has blessed you to be a blessing. You cannot, however, be a blessing if you are not blessed, thinking in a blessed state of mind. You cannot give what you do not have.
When you bless yourself according to Isaiah 65:16, at least five (5) things happen:
- You align or realign yourself with what The Lord has already said about you.
- You give life in your life to the words The Lord has already decreed in His Written Word.
- You remind yourself of your utmost dependency on The Lord.
- You empower yourself with the faith and fuel of The Word, and
- you declare that The Lord is The Blesser and The Source of Blessings!
Ten (10) “Bless Yourself Scriptures” are:
- Psalm 67:1
- Ephesians 3:16
- 2 Corinthians 9:8
- Philippians 1:9-11
- Colossians 1:10-12
- 1 Thessalonians 3:12
- 2 Thessalonians 3:16
- Ephesians 1:3
- Philippians 4:13
- Numbers 6:23-27
