“The Seasons of Worship”
- Introduction
Worship is very important to The Lord! There are six (6) petitions in The Model Prayer. One-third of the petitions are worship. The longest book in the Bible, Psalms, is known as the Book of Worship. Revelation, the last book in the Bible, focuses on worship. When Jesus was born, the angels and wise men travelled for miles and days to worship The new born King!
Since worship is very important to The Lord, it is very important to The Lord’s chief enemy, Satan. When Jesus was born, the enemy tried to misused worship to kill him. At least 40 babies were killed because the enemy did not want folk to worship Jesus. When Jesus began His earthly ministry, the enemy tried to tempt Jesus to worship him.
Since worship is very important to both The Lord and Satan, worship should be very important to you as well as well! Both The Lord and Satan desire your worship. The Lord is the only One Who deserves your worship! Give it to Him! Worship The Lord in every season of your life ……..
