Prayer Topic #10:
A Prayer Regarding Our Virtual Experience

Scripture Reading:

Isaiah 43:19, Titus 1:9

Reflections of the Heart:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, O how excellent is your Name in all the earth! Lord God, we thank you and adore you as our King. You reign above all things. We acknowledge You as the Sovereign One. There is none like you! Demons tremble at the mention of your Name!  Yahweh, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, we praise and honor You as our Redeemer, Savior, Provider, Healer, Deliverer, and Prince of Peace!

Divine Father, it is Your will that we seek first the Kingdom of God and Your righteousness as You add everything we need. Father, in this season, we acknowledge we will forget the former things and not dwell on the past, for You are doing a new thing during this pandemic! As we walk in the newness, we will operate in the fruit of the Spirit: love joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. As a church, we will walk in our core values: we will live LIFE more abundantly; we will Love unconditionally; we will operate and display Integrity with wisdom and accountability, and we will Fellowship and minster to all with the gift of hospitality. Lord, it is Your will that we flow in the gift of Excellence.  Whatever we do, let us work wholeheartedly as unto You, Lord, and not to man, and You will reward us. The Windsor Village Church Family will continue to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain. We declare that the church will be strong and courageous during this time of the coronavirus pandemic. We will not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord is with us wherever we go. We are persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Holy Spirit, please show me how I can help my family, church, friends and community.

Holy Spirit, help us to focus on you and follow your leading as You guide us daily. Holy Spirit, continue to minister to our Pastors and staff imparting wisdom, knowledge, creativity, courage and understanding during this season of recalibration. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding; anoint their study time and illuminate the pages of your Word. Remove all distractions so they can bask in Your presence and align their ears and heart with you. We thank You that our leadership and church family will lean not to our own understanding as we acknowledge You and allow You to direct our paths daily in the community, city and nation.  Holy Spirit, continue to download creative ways for our church to connect with, communicate to and enhance the community during virtual gatherings. We expect Your Word to penetrate the airwaves and instruct, convict, bring healing and life to the world.  Holy Spirit, touch our hearts to remain faithful with our tithes and offerings just as if we were coming to the church building. Holy Spirit, protect, bless and guide the behind-the-scenes personnel who consistently work hard each week to ensure a worship experience that allows us and the world to praise YOU virtually! Thank you for not withholding any good thing from them. We declare a hedge of protection for their families, resources, finances and their health as they serve!

Merciful Father, forgive us for all acts of sin. Forgive us for not participating in the virtual prayer calls, ministry meetings and weekend services. Forgive us for worry, anxiety and not trusting You during this season. Forgive us for not being compassionate and concerned about all our members. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord you are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Your thoughts and ways are higher than ours will ever be. No one can compare to you! You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Who is the King of glory? The Lord Almighty is the King of Hosts!  In the Name of Jesus, Amen!
