Prayer Topic #7:

A Prayer of Declaration for the Success of the Acts 12:5 Prayer Initiative

Scripture Reading:

Acts 12:5-19, Daniel 10

Reflections of the Heart:

“But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.” – Acts 12:5. As we embark on this prayer initiative, be encouraged in your prayer time that God hears you and He also relates to every emotion you feel. Together, we are seeking to align with the Word and will of God as we stand in faith for a mighty move of God for our visionary, Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell.

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our Miracle Worker. Thank You for giving us Your Word and instructions on how to unite on one accord. Father, we thank You for surrounding the Windsor Village Church Family with Your favor like a shield. Thank You for continuing to open doors of opportunity for our Church Family and for sustaining us even during trying times. We praise You with all of our hearts; we will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. Your reign is forever. You execute judgment from Your throne. You judge the world with justice and the people righteously. Lord, You are a shelter for the oppressed and a refuge in times of trouble. We trust in You because we know Your Name; we know that You do not abandon those who search for You. Father, Your righteousness reaches to the highest heavens. You have done wonderful things! Who can compare with You?

Glorious Father, as a Church Family, we are joining on one accord this month believing Your Word that if two on earth agree concerning anything our Father in heaven will do it for us. We confess that we will continue to pray Your Word, and believe in faith that you will perform a miracle on behalf of the Windsor Village Church Family and our visionary Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell. Lord, we declare that You are able to give Pastor Kirbyjon favor with his case, with everyone connected to it, and restore his reputation; so we call forth miracles, favor, and restoration in the name of Jesus. We confess that we are believing you for answered prayers, and therefore, according to Your Word, it will be done for us. As we do this, we expect that You will generously provide all that Windsor Village and Pastor Kirbyjon needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Holy Spirit, show me how to specifically pray in support of the Acts 12:5 Prayer Initiative this month:

Holy Spirit, please give Pastor Suzette, our pastors and leadership team continued strength, discernment and wisdom as they conduct business and lead the ministry. Help us as a Church Family to unite in prayer, faith, and fellowship and pray earnestly as the early church did until we see Your miraculous power change this situation. Lord, we ask that you would continue to protect, encourage, and comfort Pastor Kirbyjon and the Caldwell family. Surely you bless the righteous and surround them with your favor as with a shield. Holy Spirit help the entire Windsor Village Church Family remain joyful so that our strength and faith will not waiver. Please give us the grace and desire to fast and pray in line with this initiative. Continue to strengthen Windsor Village Church Family and each individual family as we move forward.

Merciful Father, forgive us for all acts of sin, whether overt or covert, including idolatry, greed, stinginess, self-centeredness, arrogance, pride, back-biting, gossip, stubbornness, and any other act of unrighteousness.  Forgive us for leaning on our own understanding and not trusting you in all things. Forgive us for not praying as we should. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed).  Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.  As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive.  (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive.  As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person (s).”  Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

Sovereign Lord, You merely spoke and the heavens were created. You breathed the word and all the stars were born. You assigned the sea its boundaries and locked the ocean in vast reservoirs. The whole earth shall fear You and stand in awe of You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
