Prayer Topic #8:

A Declaration of God’s Miraculous Power

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 93, Luke 8:40-56

Reflections of the Heart:

God’s miraculous power formed the world with His words and parted the Red Sea so that the Israelites could walk through. God’s power impregnated the virgin Mary with our Lord and Savior, transformed Saul into Paul, and rose Lazarus and Jesus from the dead. As a Church Family, we believe that we will see the power of God and His miracles in the Windsor Village Church family and our individual families!

Is anything too hard for God?

Scriptural Prayer:

Omnipotent God, thank You for Your miraculous power which is evident among the heavens and the earth! Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for being all-powerful, for with You, Lord, all things are possible even when they are impossible for us as human beings. Thank you for teaching us that everything is possible for those who believe. We praise You Lord, because You are El Shaddai, Almighty God. Your works are wonderful and we know that full well. The heavens tell of Your glory, Lord. The skies display Your marvelous craftmanship. Lord, there is no one like You! You are great, and Your name is full of power. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? That title belongs to You alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like You!

Almighty Father, as Kingdom citizens, we declare that we will see Your glory and Your miracles in this ministry, our families, and the life of our visionary, Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell. We confess that You are making us more and more like You as we are changed into Your glorious image. We will see Your glory Lord, and we will not lose heart because we believe we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Just as the angels, by the miraculous power of God, released Peter from prison as the believers were praying, we too will pray earnestly and expect the prayers of the righteous to be powerful and effective for Pastor Kirbyjon and the Windsor Village Church Family. Now all glory to You, Lord, because You are able through Your mighty power to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. We believe that You will faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds. We decree that You are our sun and shield, giving us grace and glory. You will withhold no good thing from us when we do what is right.

Reflect on the goodness of God and praise Him for the miracles that you have seen in your life and in the Windsor Village Church Family:

Holy Spirit, help us to remain in faith as we pray and wait for Your miraculous intervention to be made evident in the earth. Help us to seek the Father when we feel discouraged or frustrated. Help us to remember that if it seems slow in coming, we should wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Help us to trust the Lord completely with our needs. Remind us that the Father causes everything to work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Help us to remain faithful, steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. Keep our feet firmly planted on the ground. Remind us to keep a Kingdom perspective in all that we do.

Faithful Father, forgive us for being doubtful, impatient, and judgmental. Forgive us for murmuring and complaining while we wait for manifestation in our lives and our church family. Forgive us for praying without belief and wavering after we pray. Forgive us for not encouraging one another and standing on Your Word. Lord, forgive me for (list any sins that You have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us of all those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that You may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in Your soul caused by unforgiveness.)

Holy Spirit, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.

We praise You, Lord! How amazing are Your deeds! Everything You do reveals Your glory and majesty. We know Your greatness, Father; that You are greater than any other god. You do whatever pleases You throughout all heaven and earth, and on the seas and in their depths. Your name endures forever. Your fame is known to every generation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
