- WVCF Food Bank Distribution launched (Drive-through); Weekly; Over 17 weeks, 532,746 lbs. of food were distributed to 1,023 average households per week
- Drive-In Worship Celebration (In-person)
- The Prayer Institute’s National Prayer Call in conjunction with WVUMC (Online); 50 one-hour prayer sessions have been conducted; Weekly

Church Administration
Past Activities
- Applied for and received Paycheck Protection loan
- Received reduce liability and asset coverage on church’s insurance
- Streamlined budget accounts
- Facilitated more efficient use of online contribution system
- Purchased/leased various virtual tools to enable the church to better serve during COVID-19
Scheduled/Ongoing Activities
- Require advance approval on any/all expenditures
- Reduce cost via vendors to payment deferral request
- Monitor invoices/expenses to approve only outreach/value-adding requests
- Process payments in accordance with approved ministry budgets
- Schedule payments to reduce the outlay of financial resources at the same time
- Combine multiple vendor payments to reduce associated processing fees
- Review each staff member’s weekly output to ensure most efficient use of time
- Convene weekly conference with Finance Team to provide more timely financial assessment actions.
- Conduct virtual interactions with other churches to gather best practices for moving forward
- Review each staffing area for possible realignment of what may be required or eliminated in the future.
- Leave vacated positions open as employees leave to pursue other opportunities
- Leverage human capital resources across the departments to provide products and services to the congregation and the community
