Black Health Matters, focusing on improving the health and wellness of Black and IPOC communities, offers the largest public health forums on Black health in the nation. We will hold one of our award-winning Summit and Health Fairs in Houston on August 6, 2022, providing an interactive day of educational sessions presented by leading clinicians and advocates, alongside fitness and cooking demonstrations. Attendees can take advantage of free health screenings and enjoy complimentary breakfast and lunch. This program, free and open to the public, will take place at the Kingdom Builders’ Center, 6011 W Orem Drive, Houston, TX 77085. Register at Black Health Matters (vfairs.com) to secure your attendance and participation at this unique integrated approach to chronic disease management and wellness.

What You Will Experience:

Our presentations by clinicians pushing the boundaries for optimal patient care will help transform the health and well-being of attendees. Expect to move and clap your hands as you sit or step with exercises tailored and modified for your level of fitness. You will taste and smell culturally classic dishes with less salt, sugar and fat that still satisfy the soul while restoring the body. Resources and information from the nation’s leading pharmaceutical organizations committed to health equity will be available for download. Health-interested leader-members from key organizations attend the Summit to harvest our rich content in order to share it with their chapters, clusters and regional meetings.

Most importantly, the Summit enables you to network with like-minded people in-person or virtually to help build a culture of health in your neighborhood and across the country. BHM offers an integrated and comprehensive platform for a unique experience, inspiring attendees to learn more, do more and be more about their health. We guarantee it!
