2025 Houston Rodeo Serve Opportunity

March 4 – March 23

The Kingdom Builders’ Center and The Windsor Village Church Family have formed a partnership with Aramark and NRG Stadium to support custom events such as the Houston Rodeo & concert events.  Being a Support Ambassador it will help raise funds for Youth Outbreak and other ministries.

Who Can Serve:

  • Any person must be 18 years old or older.
  • Must have a current TABC certificate. ($9.95 Online certification)
    • Once you have completed the certification, email to com@wvumc.com

Serve Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday  | 3:45 PM – 10 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday | 1 PM – 10 PM

FAQ

Do I have to get the TABC certification before I can serve?

Yes.  There is always a possibility that you will be serving alcohol.

What happens after I obtain the TABC certification?

After we receive your certificate by either sending a copy to com@wvumc.com or visiting the Ministry table after Sunday Worship, there will be a background check and uniform information provided to you.

Will there be serving inside or outside?

We will be serving inside the NRG stadium.

Will we be able to eat and drink for free during our shift?

No. you will be provided food when you check in.  You are not allowed to eat and drink from the stand that you are working.

Can we bring our own lunch/snacks?

Yes, you can bring your own lunch/snacks, but they must be in a stadium approved clear bag.  CLICK HERE FOR POLICY

Is there an age limit to be able to work at NRG?

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old.

Will we be serving alcohol?

There is always a possibility that we will have a booth that serves alcohol.

How long do I have to work?

We are scheduled for everyday of the Rodeo: February 27- March 17

Where do I park when I volunteer?

Volunteers can park in South lot of the KBC parking lot.  We have rented a van to transport volunteers to NRG stadium. The van will pick up the volunteers after their shift and bring them back to the KBC. 

Do I have to pay for the uniform?

We will provide the shirt and hat, but the volunteer will have to provide their own black pants and black non-slip shoes.
