RETURN.REPENT.REJOICE.REVIVE

ACTS 2:40-47 | PSALM 86:6-8
Return – Feast of Trumpets
Repent – Day of Atonement
Rejoice – Feast of Tabernacles
Revive – Feast of Tabernacles

The Fall Feasts consist of three festivals: The Feast of TrumpetsThe Day of Atonement, and The Feast of Tabernacles. These feasts are extremely important because they teach us to honor God for who He is and for what He has done for us. In addition, they teach us about God’s plan for humankind and how He powerfully intervenes in human affairs! Revelation 21:3 says “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.” During the Fall Feast season we are expecting God to tabernacle with us.

Notes: Scripture References

Acts 2:40-47 (NKJV)

A Vital Church Grows

40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this [a]perverse generation.” 41 Then those who [b]gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ [c]doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and [d]sold their possessions and goods, and divided[e] them among all, as anyone had need.

46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added [f]to the church daily those who were being saved.

Psalm 85:6-8 (NKJV)

Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord,
And grant us Your salvation.  I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace
To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to [a]folly.
