The Twelve: ” I am surrounded by sisters who have the same goal..to live a life that is pleasing to God!”

The Twelve is answered prayer, as I had been asking The Lord to provide for me a mentor who would help in my walk with Him.  The Twelve has definitely done this and more.  It challenges me to the best me that I can be, to pay attention to the ‘why’ and ‘how’ I do things,  and most importantly, to live for God unwaveringly.  I am surrounded by sisters who have the same goal..to live a life that is pleasing to God! -A. The Twelve: “The Twelve taught me how to apply the lessons I learned and this is when I truly saw a change in my heart, character, and life.”

I am very thankful that I was chosen to be a part of The Twelve. Two months before I started the class, I had just experienced a loss in my life and I hadn’t ever felt that much pain and hurt. In that moment I knew God was with me, but I also knew He was calling me to be a different woman through that experience. I asked God to show me how to grow in relationship with Him, so that I could live a life that honors and glorifies Him. I wasn’t sure how this would be done or how God would...

The Twelve: “…I DID NOT WANT TO REMAIN in a “bitter” emotional state of mind.”

I am so grateful to have been offered and given an opportunity to be a part of The Twelve. I am a single parent of three; two young adult children and one teenager. With that said, I had feelings and emotions from having grown up with an absent father and a single parent mother who worked excessively to obtain a higher education and to provide for her...

When I was asked if  I wanted to be part of the Twelve, I thought it would be an awesome opportunity to learn more about God's Word and His will for my spiritual and natural life.  I was also eager to be a part of a class with other women with whom I could share experiences with and learn from as well. Being a part of the Twelve has really improved my relationship with God and my everyday life. I have received a wealth of knowledge and experiences that not only feed my spiritual self...
