Singles Fantasy Football League

Are you ready for some football? It’s that time of the year again. Preseason starts tonight, August 12th. The Windsor Village Singles Ministry Fantasy Teams are now forming. If you’re new to fantasy football, we have a training session tentatively scheduled for Saturday, August 28th from 10:30am – 12:30pm @ the KBC where we’ll teach you about the upcoming live draft.

Are you new to fantasy football? Do not be intimidated. It’s a virtual competition where you are the team manager, and your goal is to get the best team on the field each week.

Movie and Mingle Night

The Singles’ Ministry will host an evening of dinner and fellowship for the movie “Takers”, starring Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, Tip "T.I." Harris, Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen.

You will have the opportunity to fellowship at dinner immediately before the show and/or immediately afterwards! Very important: discounted movie tickets are only available if you're joining us for dinner immediately after the movie. All other tickets can be purchased directly from the theater.

Tickets purchased online from this website will be available 1 hour before the showtime, until 10 minutes before the movie starts. A Singles Ministry representative (Christi) will be in the lobby of the theater.

Synopsis: Takers revolves around a notorious group of criminals who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is bent on solving the case.

2010 Ski Retreat Attendance

Last season, 49 Singles from Houston & Midland, TX, Baltimore, MD, and Tyler, TX attended our annual Singles’ Ski Retreat in Winterpark, Colorado.

We look forward to once again competing in our traditional team building competition, and our annual “mountain” Bible study. We have limited capacity; therefore registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis until all slots are filled. You do not have to be a member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church to attend the retreat.
