Come enjoy: Neo-Soul Artists, Live Jazz, Spoken Word, Great Good, and Networking with other Houston Singles'. In addition, there will be a full dance floor and dinner buffet. The cost is $25. Childcare is also available, and it's free. Children must be over 3 years old and potty trained.

Also, if you have that itch for poetry and you want to be considered for open mic, please send your script to singles@wvumc.com for consideration.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark

The Singles’ Ministry is sponsoring an excursion to Schlitterbahn Waterpark in New Braunfels, TX. This event is a special day for Single Parents Only! All tickets, both adult and youth, are $25. The cost includes roundtrip transportation, park admission, and a continental breakfast for the ride.

Buses will depart the KBC on Saturday, August 23rd @ 7:00AM and return by 10PM. Children and youth must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Tickets will be available as the bus departs.

Our Singles' Ministry needs help planning a ski trip to Lake Tahoe in 2009. Please sign-up below to participate on the planning team OR if you're interested in joining us in Lake Tahoe.

Private Swim Lessons @ the YMCA
(Classes are now closed/full for all sessions!)

Lessons are tailored to fit your comfort level. Whether you are deathly afraid of water because of a bad experience or any other reason, there is a section for you. Or, if you're not afraid, but simply can't coordinate a stroke, we have a section for you as well. Beat the heat and swim late in the evening with the Singles' Ministry. All classes run in 2-week cycles, Monday - Thursday, 8:00-8:30pm.

Cost: $25/Person (Regular $65)
