Facilitator: Wanda Hobbs is a licensed professional counselor and has 30+ years’ experience in teaching and counseling persons of all ages.
This course introduces three different wellness-based exercise programs to pique your interest and peak your fitness. The first session features Zumba, dance aerobics to a fusion of Latin and international music. The second session offers kickboxing. The third session addresses total body strength conditioning.

Unleash the artist in you in a relaxing and supportive environment. In this course, you will learn how to see; how to hold a pencil; the importance of choosing the right supplies and media; shapes and forms and light and color; and how to draw a variety of things including plants, animals, landscapes, and people.
NOTE: The purchase of colored pencils and a drawing pad are required.

In this course, you will learn how to organize your shopping trips, where to find saving opportunities and how to clip coupons and view sales weekly. By the end of this course, you will have all the tools you need to achieve successful shopping trips.

RECYCLED REDESIGN: USE WHAT YOU HAVE TO GET THE ROOM THAT YOU WANT
Sometimes the most effective decorating strategy for a room is to rethink what you already own instead of buying more furniture and accessories. This philosophy is called "redesign." In this course, learn how to see old things in a new light and use what you have to create the room of your dreams. NOTE: Course participants are asked to bring an 8 x 10 photo of the room they wish to redesign.

The Edible Backyard
Go from your backyard (or container) to the table with fresh fruits and vegetables. In this course, you will learn to plant the garden of your dreams from how to select the right type of garden, layout and tools to how to harvest and store your produce. A field trip to the Houston Farmers Market is also on the agenda.
