Pastor Kim Orr

Pastor Kimberly Orr is an Associate Pastor for Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. She is originally from Livingston, Texas.  Her undergraduate degree is in Music Education from Sam Houston State University and her first Master's degree is from Rice University in Choral Conducting.  During the mid 1990's Pastor Orr was the Associate International Tour Manager for the Houston Grand Opera, and toured with the company of Porgy & Bess and Four Saints in Three Acts.

She ultimately answered her call to full-time Pastoral Ministry in 1998 and received her Masters of Divinity in 2005 from Asbury Seminary.  She was ordained a full elder in the United Methodist Church in May, 2009.

Pastor Orr has a passion for deep biblical study and gleaning truths from our Hebraic roots of our Christian faith.  In the spring of 2010, she received her certificate of Jewish Learning from Hebrew University via the Florence Melton School for Adult Learning.

Pastor Orr believes a healthy body, mind and spirit are essential to living fully before the Lord.  She is an avid amateur athlete and participates in a variety of short-distance triathlons and other races.  She plays acoustic guitar and performs original and cover songs at various small venues in and around Houston, TX.  She is also an avid reader.

Pastor Orr is blessed with two beautiful and fabulous children:  Josiah and Miriam - a son-in-law - Josh and two grandchildren.
